Visual Proofs:
Forensic Views of the Body
This exhibition for the National Library of Medicine presented the history of forensic science and key criminal cases, while explaining the scientific procedures and investigative tools used to determine the cause(s) of unexplained deaths — to provide “visible proofs”. It opened investigative “technology” addressing a realm of science that bridges medicine to entomology to criminal justice, and that spans from ancient texts to the most high-tech methods used today.
